Put the card in. That's the step.

Register the card once and from then on you just push it into the reader. SmileCrop knows the card by its volume serial, not its drive letter, and starts on its own — no dialog, no clicking. It watches folders the same way, including one on a network drive. Prefer to drive it yourself? Pick a folder and hit Start.

In our own clinical use, SmileCrop automatically handles around 93% of the photos in the dataset used there. Unusual shots or non-standard angles may still need a quick manual adjustment. Results at another clinic may vary with image quality, photo types, and capture technique.
